Romantic Getaway in Bali

It was my first time after 7 years of marriage, that my hubby and I celebrated our first anniversary oversea. Sebelum ni kat Malaysia sahaja but this time around, we just wanna spice things up so we decided to celebrate our honeymoon in Bali.
I got the MAS ticket for two at RM999 (It's the best price I've ever got!) and 5d4n tour package from Triways for 2 person at only RM1100 (It's really worth it!). Ini kali kedua memijak kaki ke bumi Bali because sebelum ni I went there with my girlfriends, haiyooo, really missed them la.
Since I dah pernah pergi, makanya kebanyakan trip tu I make sure yang 'perlu dan wajib' pergi. Kalau tak pergi, makanya u only see a little bit of Bali sahaja. I believe taking the tour package is much cheaper sebab previously my money banyak gone to food, quite expensive gak food di Bali because they convert it to USD dollars if you dont have rupiah. Satu lagi, you dont have to fikir lagi nak bayar tourist guide and the driver sebab dah included in the package. Basically, u bawak duit lebih ke sana untuk shopping for souvenirs and for yourself, hehe.
Here are some pictures for your to enjoy. Tak banyak that I can upload since most of the pictures are still with my hubby and he's not around until October, outstation, huhu.
So, sit back and enjoy :)

We're on MAS flight and we're given lunch, ada Ferrero Roche you, i loike. It's our rezeki dapat nak flight ni since the competitor are offering higher price :)

Sampai aje kat sana, kami ke Uluwatu, nak tengok breathtaking view of the place. Yang pakai short, sumernya kena pakai kain sebab tempat ni dikira kawasan suci mereka. Yang dah berpakaian sopan akan diberi tali, tak pasti untuk apa, tapi pakai je la ya :) Owh btw, my hubby is holding my 'chic sac' (reusable bag) :)

Inilah nya view di Uluwatu. Scenery yang lagi cantik sebenarnya in on the lefthand side tapi terlalu ramai orang makanya we take pictures kat mana yang boleh la.Belakang bukit tu ramai surfers surfing. Ombak kuat and really sesuai untuk yang nak surfing.

When you are at GWK (Garuda Wishnu Kenchana), jangan lupa singgah makan di sini, JENDELA BALI. Kalau diluar sudah cantik, I believe you can imagine di dalamnya bagaimana kan? Makanannya style buffet, the view, walalala, really cosy and hilang penat dibuatnya. Kebanyakan tour package, the guests are provided food here sebab halal and the ambience is really high class.

Belakang kami is the Dewa. I tak reti nak explain but their plan was to combine the Dewa that is made of aluminium (kot or is it steel?) with the Garuda and it'll become a very big kind of pyramid in Bali.Dalam tu akan dibuat beberapa tingkat for their prayers, ada few level yang akan dibuat seperti shopping mall and etc.The Dewa and Garuda tu memang sudah ada but due to budget contstraint, they have to hold on the project first. Sekiranya project ini berjalan, pastinya it'll become the main attraction in Bali.I may say this is one of the 'think outside the box' plan.

Dan ini adalah patung Garuda yang I katakan tu. You can imagine how big the Garuda is sebab manusia-manusia di bawah tu nampak kerdil saja.
Selepas makan, we were ushered to see the dance...this is not the traditional Kecak dance or Barong dance but more of a combination. Percaya atau tidak, pelakon-pelakonnya terdiri daripada kanak-kanak yang pekak.we really had a good laugh sebab kanak-kanak ini pandai buat joke, hehe. So by the end of the show, we can donate rupiahs to them.
They also have Barong dance in here sambil sambil kami makan.Yang bintik-bintik berwarna putih di belakang sana is the view of Bali.
The 2nd day, we were brought to see the Barong Dance. Masa ni kes Ariel and Luna tgh hot, makanya pelakon-pelakon ni pun ada masanya buat lawak on the issue. Kelakar jugak la kan but surely their intention is just to hiburkan kami, hehe. Yang bagusnya bila attend the dances, we are given a summary of the dance in a paper supaya senang nak faham. Tourist akan diberi keutamaan untuk berada di bahagian depan manakala untuk orang tempatan, they'll be sitting behind. You need to see one of the dances in Bali, be it Barong dance ke, Kecak dance ke or whatever dance that they have in Bali. Its really informative and kinda portray their culture here.

I will upload more pictures later but I gotta go rite now since it's almost 7.30 am in the morning and I need to prepare myself to work. Will continue again ya.

Things I LEARNED and DID when I was in Japan

I was offered to attend a 21 day course in Japan last year (2009), from 18th January to 7th February. I believe that was my most 'precious' birthday gift for me since my birthday falls on the 19th of January and at the 'unique' number of 33 :) There are so many things that I've learned and did in Japan, I can write a 21-pages essay for that! To make things fun, let me just simply outline it with pictures down here. By the way, if there's any correction to be made, please email to me : jonaqueman@yahoo.com, because I may see things differently. So, sit back and enjoy the show :)
It's similar to Malaysian culture, bila ada meeting, normally ada la 'food'nya but its just not as heavy course as ours
They have 'adoberry', its a mixtures of few berries and looks like blueberries. This was capture at their planting area.
This is train time information
Its nice to go during winter season because you may never get this in Malaysia (except at our entertainment park la kan)
Take a trip with the bullet train...its comfy and really fast
Even in their bullet train, they still have information for the passengers..good good.
Capture the breathtaking Mount Fuji view. We were in the bullet train when the view was taken.
When taking the elevator, make sure you are on one side only since the other side is for those who is in a rush.
Where ever you are, please stay in a pack since the Japanese people are always in a rush. Bila terpisah dgn pack, itu yang mudah sesat tu.
They are really serious on making the earth green...see, there's recycle bins even at train station
Make sure your camera is around so that you can take beautiful view like this
Their toilet are 'bidet' style...so, try to adjust with it ya.
Tokyo is a happening city around the clock :)
Do visit our Malaysian cuisine restaurant in Tokyo. They have satay here.
Do enjoy milkshakes with your friends even during winter...nyummylicious...The paper bags we're carrying is from Akihabara, its a souvenir shop and the price is very reasonable when you purchase in high volume.
Take a ride on the amazingly fun roller coaster. I did that and won't do it again, huhu
Take lots lots lots of pictures even if its before the lecture starts, hehe
In JICA, they have a fair trade community, you can buy the items and at the same time contribute to the community...I'm holding a chocolate made by the community.
They even have recyle bins in the office...fantastic!
You can find this 'hot n cold' vending machine drinks everywhere, be it in an office, even at the sidewalk outside...cool huh!
We stayed at JICA centre, I'm not sure its open to tourist or not but if they do, I would recommend you to stay here.
How I missed my kids so much. Dapat bermanja manja dgn anak orang pun jadilah.
You really really need to know where you're going so that you won't miss your stop, hehe
Do visit their wax museum...its similar like madame tasseux in England.
My friend here so friendly with the 'tokei', so we ended up getting free food from them, hehe. Cayalah Farahsan.
Minyak masak pun they recycle tau. See...minyak masak dimasukkan dalam botol dan akan diproses di kilang dan selepas itu akan digunakan sebagai bahan api untuk kenderaan mereka. Pehhhh...fantastic!
This was in Osaka, ada yang menggunakan tenaga solar untuk menggantikan tenaga elektrik sedia ada.
In town like Osaka, ramai yang cycling to do their daily chores but in big city like Tokyo pun masih ada yang cycle to work.Hebat hebat...
Don't forget to take picture with the Kimono girls
They are really concern on hygiene. 'Guru' kami pakai mask for safety purposes.
Last day in Osaka, ambil kesempatan gi cycling. Best jugak cycle in the winter season, penat terasa tapi tak berpeluh, hehe
Sekali sekala bila terasa rindu masakan Malaysia, apalagi, kitchen la tempat mengubat rindu.
Di belakang kami tu bangunan yang belum siap. They cover the buildings yang belum siap. Bagus bagus!
